The bottleneck is rarely the project
When a network gets stuck expanding, the first suspicion usually falls on the architectural design. In most cases, the real bottleneck is the process behind it.
Designing a store is quick. Coordinating ten simultaneous stores, each in a different phase (study, executive, construction), with different engineering teams and suppliers, standardized documentation and a tight rollout deadline, is what separates an office prepared for scale from one accustomed to a single project.
Retail architecture for expanding chains requires a system: standard document delivery, replicable compatibility checklist, structured communication with multiple work fronts at the same time. Without this, each new store restarts learning from the previous store, and the network never really gains speed.
Fast network is not the fastest network. It is the one that transforms the first store into a prototype, the prototype into a standardization manual, and the manual into a notebook of details that any team can follow without reinventing the solution for each unit. System does not guarantee perfect rollout. Ensures that the error only happens once.
