Commercial architecture does not decide aesthetics first. Decide operation

Whoever hires a commercial project thinking about a beautiful facade usually discovers late that the problem was elsewhere: in the customer flow, in the sectorization, in the checkout position, in the technical area that no one designed until there was no space for it in the work.

Commercial architecture works at the intersection of business, operations, design and experience. Each layout decision has a consequence that is not aesthetic: poorly resolved circulation reduces conversion, wrong sectorization increases replacement time, undersized technical area becomes a maintenance bottleneck for the next ten years.

Beautiful design is the consequence of well-resolved operational decisions, not the starting point. This doesn't mean giving up on aesthetics, it means not treating it as a number one priority.

Whoever evaluates a commercial project just by the final image is evaluating the easiest part to get right.
